A solar eclipse is coming our way on August 21st. This occurs when the Moon passes between the Earth and the Sun, blocking the Sun's rays from hitting Earth. When this happens, less sunlight reaches our solar panels. During the eclipse, solar power output could decrease by more than 60%, about 4,200 Megawatts.
